Anne McDonagh

Psychotherapist

Anne has a master’s in adolescent psychotherapy and is accredited with the IACP. Anne works with adolescents aged 13 to 24. She has personal and professional experience of neurodiversity and a keen understanding of supporting a neurodivergent teenager. She is also an expert in adolescent development and the range of issues that emerge during teenage years. Anne passionately believes in providing support to neurodivergent adolescents as they navigate these very significant life stages.

Anne works alongside parents and caregivers offering parenting/caregiver support and psychoeducation sessions. She has a passion for advocating for young people’s rights and making sure that they receive the supports available to them.

Anne has a background in mental health, suicide prevention, women’s issues and community development. Before starting her private practice Anne worked in the Kell’s People’s Resource centre and was clinical director of the service for 12 years. Anne has over 20 years’ experience as a psychotherapist.

Anne offers online counselling and understands the anxiety of attending a therapist for that first time and endeavours to make it as easy as possible for you to find the support you need. Anne provides a safe and neuro-affirming, trauma informed practice.
